Kannan lives with his parents and his sister in a small house that has three rooms. His sister’s name is Yazhini. Kannan’s father works in a private company. Kannan is studying in second grade and his younger sister Yazhini goes to preschool.

On Sunday, Kannan’s family was at home and it was a holiday. Kannan’s mother was preparing breakfast in the kitchen. Kannan and Yazhini were playing with their friends.

“Kannan, Yazhini, please come inside” their father called, and their friends went home.
