Teacher: “Students! Today’s lesson is environmental pollution”
Rakesh: “Teacher, what is environmental pollution?”
Teacher: “Everything around us is environment. These includes all living and non-living things. The man benefits the most from what surrounds us but man also pollutes the environment with activities such as unnatural deforestation and the consequences are many.
Environmental pollution is mainly caused by the following three ecological factors.
Land Pollution:
Soil excavations, deforestation, heavy use of plastic materials, nuclear tests, civil war, chemical fertilizer use, land affected by factors such as the occurrence of major disasters. The consequences are:
Measures to prevent land pollution:
Water Pollution:
Water is heavily polluted by human activities such as dumping waste, industrial waste, mixing it with water when using disinfectants, and conducting underwater nuclear tests. The effects of water pollution are:
Ways to prevent water pollution:
Air Pollution:
Atmosphere is the air around us. Air is the most important element for the survival of human and all other living beings. Yet deforestation, nuclear test & attacks, industrial waste gases, smokes from vehicle, smoke by human activities such as space travel initiatives. The consequences are:
Measures to prevent air pollution:
Environmental pollution affects not only human being but everything around us and the ecological balance is slowly getting lost and we show follow the stated guidelines to prevent environmental pollution. Did you all understand today’s lesson?”
Students: “Yes Teacher”
Author: “Well then please do the exercises I have given”
Only when the balance of the beautiful environment around us is maintained, we can get the full benefits from the earth and our surrounding environment. This course will teach you how the ecological components of water, land and air are affected by human activities, their impacts and ways to prevent it.
