Kannan: Ok Dad.

Dad: In the lesson “Being a leader”, I taught you about how Actor Mr.Rajinikanth always arrived at his shooting spot well ahead of time. You will understand that this quality is as important as any other qualities in order to become a leader.  Let’s take a look at the benefits of doing work on time.

  • Completing work on time avoids tension
  • No tension No stress
  • Satisfaction on completion of the work
  • Opportunity to re-verify the work done.
  • Gain the respect and trust of others.
  • Through this, we would get opportunities for higher leadership responsibilities.
    For example Student Leader.
  • Our quality of doing work on time will also set us an example for others.

Kannan: Dad, I understand doing one’s work on time can yield so many benefits. how do I inculcate such a habit in me?

Dad: That’s not really that difficult my dear. You can follow it. You need to follow the following to develop the leadership quality of doing one’s work on time.

  • You need to wake up early in the morning
  • Go to school on time.
  • Complete the homework activities given at School.
  • Eat on time daily.
  • Not stay awake late at night.
  • Study the lessons on time.
  • Do exercises in the morning every day.
  • Eat food on time.
  • Practice getting all the work done on time.
  • If your teacher or parents ask you to come at a particular time, try to reach the place a few minutes earlier.

If you follow this, You’ll have the habit of doing work on time even after you’ve grown up.

Kannan: “I agree, Dad because, “Habits die hard” am I right?”

Dad: “Yes. Very well said, dear. The following disadvantages would occur if the work is not done on time.

  • Others will lose respect for you.
  • Others will call you lazy.
  • You will feel depressed.
  • Increased feelings of tension.
  • You will not get leadership responsibilities.
  • Others will not have belief in you.

Therefore, by nurturing every trait of leadership, you end up getting recognized as the best example of a great leader for others.”

Kannan: “Dad, I will become a great leader by following all the leadership traits you have taught me”

Dad: “My best wishes to you, my Son.”
